Hello all!

First off: we have all dealt with our Spam folders eating messages we really wanted. For some reason, Spam folders find forum updates particularly tasty! Please check ASAP to make sure TheoTech Forums is on your “Allow” list! We don’t want you to miss comments on your posts!

Phew, now that’s out of the way: If you haven’t already, make sure you check out the CDX guidelines and the Self-Introduction thread.

This thread right here, though, will help you stay up to date with new things happening on the TheoTech Forums!

During this holiday season we want to focus on making this place even more inviting and useful. You’ll see us adding some more personally-oriented threads in addition to the content you’re used to! We hope you’ll let us get to know you better.

Finally, we are going to be looking for ways to thank participants who are improving and building up our community. We’ll update you as this progresses, and encourage you to drop in more often and share your thoughts with us!

Hi team. Hope the holidays are treating you well so far!

You will see some organization changes happening in the forums over the coming weeks. We are streamlining our goals and making new spaces for what God has laid strongest on our hearts.

All of the old posts will remain, but may be shifted into a different category. Hopefully they will be self-explanatory and make navigation easier.

Keep an eye on the new categories and the tags that are getting added on to threads! And, of course, let us know if you have any questions.

Did you know we’re expanding our outreach?

We hope to meet people on other platforms and invite them into meaningful discussions here. For example, if you’re on Twitter, follow us at @theotechORG!

Also, we’d love you to be proactive about inviting like-minded believers into our discussions here. The Body is healthiest when it is diverse in culture and unified in Christ! With the new year comes new momentum.

Happy new year everyone! I hope the Lord is refreshing you as we move forward into 2021. Thanks for being here with us!

We are going to continue trying some new things and developing this space to be even more useful and engaging. One big goal is that we’d like to see more threads where we can actively innovate and experiment together. Have a software you’re trying out, or a website you think you can use in a neat way? Let us know where to download/find it, or throw some screen shots up as you explore! Let’s experiment and build together.

Keep your eyes peeled for other new things we’re trying, and feel free to drop comments and suggestions here as well!

Hello all!

We’re continuing to make changes in the Discourse to streamline and make it more readable, especially for new members.

The most notable thing right now is the new category for TheoTech Podcast discussion. You can see we’re adding threads for the newest episodes first. Hopefully there will eventually be one for each episode but it will take a while to work backwards through the archives.
